Daniel Gerken focuses on entity formations, business structures, real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate matters. He also has experience with startup funding, equity, and compliance. Before founding Gerken Law, he held leadership roles at several startups, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for an equity crowdfunding platform, where he helped register a funding portal with the SEC and FINRA.

Daniel is a graduate of Fordham Law School. While attending law school at night, he gained experience forming companies at an international IP firm, developing privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs for a security‑camera manufacturer, preparing visa petitions for artists and other extraordinary individuals at a boutique immigration firm, and defending policyholders in an Am Law 200 insurance‑defense practice.

Daniel cut his teeth in the general practice of law at a boutique firm in Central Texas, where he gained hands‑on experience in real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate matters. This work forms part of the practical, statute‑driven approach he brings to clients today.

Daniel is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Texas Bar College. He volunteers regularly with the Veterans Legal Assistance Program and other pro bono initiatives.
